Superficiality. Beauty.

Crème de la crème.
Superficiality.
Short-lived and skin-deep beauty.
Visual creatures.
Shallow characters.
Beautiful facade to hide a scheming self.
Angelic features to hide an evil heart.

if beauty ain't important, the beauty profession will not be booming.
if beauty is skin-deep, why do guys go for good-looking girls? (i think girls do have a higher tolerance for lower-than-average looks)
if looks didn't matter, why do girls spend so much dolling themselves up?
if looks are not important, those people who are perceived as not so good-looking would not have problems finding a partner, would they?

beauty, how do u judge what's beautiful and what's not.
what about a stereotypical definition of beauty?

you tell your partner, you're beautiful the way you are. i love you no matter what you look like. i will love you till you're old and crinkled. yet, your eyes rove about the moment you see someone beautiful. those alluring beauties that turn heads as they sashay across the streets.

some people might think i am jealous of beautiful people or i suffer from inferiority complex. let them think. i think what i've said have some instances of truth. yes, as the saying goes: beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. can i believe in that whole-heartedly?

ironically, if all of us are non-visual creatures, i think no one would know the difference between what's beautiful and what's not.

i used to say this: those who sell make-up, sells hope. a talented sales executive told me that. i believe in that. does that make me superficial? does that make me bimbotic?

it all lies in the packaging, isn't it?

there lies 2 boxes of chocolates. one beautifully wrapped up, the other not. you've not tried both before. which would you choose? high chances are that you would choose the one with the more exquisite, or presumably better-looking wrapping.

i've no idea why i'm writing all these. bt these thoughts just come to me...
