celebration.

yesh. my bday is over. the once-a-year event which i dread, yet i am pleased about.

this year, the usual, dinner with the gers + jun... bt we had a VIP, ms HOU HOU... hahah. anyway, i've grown quite close to her as well, since we work in the same company and we spent some unassigned weeks together in office...

the birthday dinner was reli an excuse for all of us to get together... heart-warming, delightful... gossips, bitching... talk like there's no tomorrow... it was great!! a BIG BIG thank you to all you gals!! =D

although conversations revolved around work, work, and more work... WBL, interim, finals... wahahaha.... it was fun. bt as usual, the crazy and irritating me will try to switch topics now and then.. it's not that i dislike talking about work, bt we need to get a life!! hahah. bt it's nice to know how the gers are doing at work and wad issues they are facing... at least, if they realise that one of us is facing the same misery, they don't feel so alone, i guess...

i reli miss the gers... we shld gather more often... to crap and to do silly nonsense... haha.

then came saturday, i idled my time at home....
this time, no domesticated saturday... cox it's MY day... haha.

i wld reli have spent it alone and at home if it weren't for HIM...

it was nice spending the evening with him.
brought warmth to my cold heart.

although there werent special plans, it was the effort he made in spending time with me on my birthday... it made me smile from within... =)

afterall, he isnt obliged in any way to make special plans; doesn't even have to spend time with me... plus, it has been a trying period for him... with work, studies and other commitments in his life, i saw the weariness on his face... although he told me that things are better now, given that exams and the dept outing have come to a wonderful close, think he needs time to revitalise himself... to think that he didn't mind sacrificing his personal time, which he could utilise to re-charge himself; instead he chose to keep me company, words of gratitude ain't enuf to express my appreciation. Thanks!!
